1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Claw Symbiotic (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. Simple.
"Claw Symbiotic" includes the software, apps, APIs, websites, and all related services provided by El Rudo Larios LLC ("we," "us," "our").
2. What You Get
Claw Symbiotic is a self-hosted AI ecosystem. Here's what that means:
- Your infrastructure: The software runs on devices you own and control. We provide the software, not the servers.
- Your data: Conversations, memories, preferences — all stored locally on your devices.
- Your choice: You choose which AI models to use, local or cloud-based. We don't force you into any provider.
- Your network: Communication between your devices happens on your private network. We never see it.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining your own hardware, network, and infrastructure.
- Securing your devices and private keys.
- Any content you generate or actions you take through the Service.
- Complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- Configuring AI model providers according to their own terms of service.
4. What You Can't Do
Don't be a parasite. Specifically:
- Don't harm people. Don't use Claw Symbiotic to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm anyone.
- Don't break the law. Don't use it for illegal activities.
- Don't attack our infrastructure. Don't DDoS, hack, or attempt to disrupt our services.
- Don't reverse-engineer for resale. Modify it for your own use? Sure. Build a competing product from our code? No.
- Don't impersonate. Don't use it to impersonate real people for fraud.
- Don't spam. Don't use our waitlist or contact systems for spam.
5. Intellectual Property
El Rudo Larios LLC owns the Claw Symbiotic software, branding, and related intellectual property. You own everything you create with it.
- Your content: Your conversations, configurations, memories, and data are entirely yours.
- Our software: The Claw Symbiotic codebase and branding belong to us. License terms for the software are specified separately.
- AI outputs: Content generated by AI models is subject to those providers' terms. We don't claim ownership of it.
6. Open Source Components
Claw Symbiotic may include or integrate with open source software. Each component is governed by its own license. We respect open source licenses and expect you to as well.
7. Service Availability
Self-hosted means self-reliant. Since Claw Symbiotic runs on your infrastructure, uptime is your responsibility. We provide updates, documentation, and support — but we can't guarantee your hardware won't break, your internet won't go down, or your power won't cut out.
We strive to provide reliable software and responsive support. But we don't guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Specific results from AI model interactions.
- Compatibility with all hardware configurations.
8. AI Model Disclaimer
Claw Symbiotic connects to AI models that generate content. Important:
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate.
- You are responsible for verifying and moderating AI outputs.
- We are not liable for what AI models say or do.
- Each model provider has their own terms — you agree to those separately.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.
- We are not liable for data loss — your data is on your devices, back it up.
- We are not liable for AI model outputs or decisions made based on them.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Termination
You can stop using Claw Symbiotic at any time. Since it runs on your devices, you can simply uninstall it.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. We'll try to give you notice first, unless you're doing something harmful or illegal.
Upon termination: your data remains on your devices. We don't hold it hostage.
11. Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve disputes like reasonable people. If you have a problem, contact us first. If we can't resolve it:
- Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
- We'll attempt mediation before any legal proceedings.
- You agree to personal jurisdiction in New York courts.
12. Symbiosis Doctrine
These terms exist to protect both of us. We built Claw Symbiotic on a principle of symbiosis — mutual benefit, trust, and respect. We commit to:
- Transparency: No hidden terms, no dark patterns, no gotchas.
- Consent: You choose how to use the service. We don't manipulate you into anything.
- Reversibility: Your data is on your devices. You can always leave.
- Human agency: The technology serves you. Not the other way around.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through our website or email. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We won't retroactively weaken your rights.
