Claw Symbiotic is a self-hosted AI ecosystem. This means:

• All personal data — conversations, preferences, memories, device states — is stored locally on your devices and your own infrastructure.
• We do not operate a central cloud server that processes or stores your personal data.
• AI model inference happens on your hardware or through model APIs you configure and control.
• Communication between your devices happens over your private network (Tailscale, VPN, or local network).

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Waitlist Signups

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. This is the only personal data we actively collect. We use it solely to notify you about product launches and major updates. That's it.

2.2 Product Usage Data

Claw Symbiotic operates locally. Usage data — your conversations, habits, preferences, memories — all stay on your devices. We have no access to it unless you explicitly share it with us.

2.3 Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics trackers, cookies for advertising, or fingerprinting. We may use basic, privacy-respecting server logs for debugging and security (IP addresses for rate limiting, error logs), but we don't profile you.

3. Third-Party Services

Claw Symbiotic integrates with external AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or local models) based on your configuration. When you use these services:

• Your prompts are sent directly from your device to the model provider you chose.
• We are not a middleman. Your data doesn't flow through our servers.
• Each provider has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
• You can use fully local models (Ollama, LM Studio, etc.) to keep everything on-device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Ever.

The only exceptions:

• Legal obligation: If required by law, court order, or government regulation.
• Your consent: If you explicitly ask us to share something.
• Service providers: We may use minimal services (email delivery, hosting) that process data only to deliver the service you requested.

5. Data Retention

• Waitlist emails: Retained until you request deletion or we shut down the service.
• Product data: Controlled entirely by you. Stored on your devices, deleted when you delete it.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & Beyond)

We respect your data rights regardless of where you live:

• Access: You can request any data we hold about you.
• Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your data.
• Portability: Your data is already on your devices. It's yours.
• Objection: You can opt out of any communications.
• Restriction: You can limit how we process your data.

7. Security

We take security seriously:

• All network communication between your devices is encrypted (TLS/WireGuard).
• Local data is stored in standard formats accessible only to your system user.
• We recommend running Claw Symbiotic behind a private network (Tailscale, VPN, or local only).
• We promptly patch known vulnerabilities.

8. Children's Privacy

Claw Symbiotic is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International Users

El Rudo Larios LLC is based in New York City, USA. If you're accessing Claw Symbiotic from outside the US, your data may be subject to different legal frameworks. Since your data stays on your devices and we collect minimal information, cross-border data transfer concerns are minimal.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through our website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll never quietly weaken your privacy.
